Roots Birth & Women’s Health
Megan Bristol, CNM/WHNP
Megan, a Butte, MT native, discovered her passion for women’s health early in her nursing career. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ, before returning to Butte to work as an RN on a medical-surgical floor. After a few years, she transitioned to Labor & Delivery, where she found her true calling. With approximately 10 years of experience as an L&D nurse, Megan pursued her Master of Science in Nursing through Frontier University in Kentucky, becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife. She spent three years with Intermountain Health, refining her holistic approach to women’s and maternal care. Megan’s philosophy as a midwife centers on individualized, family-centered care—building lasting relationships with women and their families while ensuring their health and wellness needs are met.
Beyond pregnancy and birth, Megan has a strong passion for hormone replacement therapy, and helping women navigate transitional phases of life with confidence and well-being. At Roots, her goal is to create a welcoming environment where women feel heard, supported, and empowered in their healthcare journey.
Outside of work, Megan is a proud mother of three boys; Beckam, Coyer and Theo. She enjoys spending time outdoors, camping, running, skiing, and making lasting memories with her family and friends.
